Sara Khan and Ali Merchant had married each other on a reality show before calling it quits after sometime.
For those not in the know, Khan and Merchant had married each other on a reality show before calling it quits after sometime. The actor had spoken openly about how his life changed drastically after his separation from Khan. He also revealed how producers were not ready to work with him because of the entire episode. The actress, on the other hand, had said that there was no good bonding between them that led to their separation.

Now that both of them are in front of each other in Lock Upp, viewers can expect a lot of masala in days to come. But will they get to see them in the same team, or will they be the opponents is something we all are waiting to see

Talking about his ex-wife's presence on Lock Upp, Merchant said, “I feel this is the format of this show where she has to be there. I am sure she is also there to reinvent herself. I hope she believes in that and I hope she sees that in a positive way which is better for her and her future. And if she does not, then it is her loss.”
